Engine Simune not taking responsibility

On 04 August 2023 at 18:26, I was filling in petrol for my car at Engen Simunye Motors garage in Bloemfontein. The petrol attendant broke my car's petrol lid/door. He promised to pay for it and asked not to report it to his manager. so he did not keep his promise. I informed the manager and gave them the quotation and the manager gave the quotation to the petrol attendant but till this day they have not paid or replaced the lid/door. I went to Engine Simunye about four time since the incident. even yesterday I was there. Engine should replace my petrol lid since this happened at their garage by their employee. I can not safely drive around with my car now. The attendant's name is MacG as it is written on his name badge.
