ENGEN SELCOURT SERVICE STATION (SPRINGS)

It is unfortunate that I have to resort to doing this but the manager at Engen Selcourt service station (springs) has been very unhelpful. Situation: I filled my car with 95 unleaded on 2 May 2025 (unfortunately i did not take a slip as I used cash on this particular day) that caused my car to go in "limp mode" on 9 May 2025. I took my car to cassey auto springs to find out what the issue was with my vehicle. The report stated that it was contaminated fuel that caused the issue and because of this the warranty would not cover the repair. I had to pay R4718.04 to get the tank removed and cleaned. (Proof has been supp**** to the manager). I was then asked by the manager that I should bring the fuel sample the ford garage gave me so they can do testing to see if it was engen's fuel. I dropped off the sample 24 May 2025. Which he wants to charge me for???? If you want to test the fuel you can test it but you will not hold me liable for that cost. I have also repeatedly asked that he send me the video of the fuel being put into my car and logs stating what fuel was put in. But this has not happened yet. Our last communication was on Monday 26 May and he as not responded or tried to sort out the issue in timely matter. Can Engen please advise on the way forward so this issue can be resolved.

Just an Update for everyone to see: I was informed that the garage will do nothing to sort out this issue, and it seems that Engen Petroleum just play the middle man and does not force customer service of any kind. Their reply was very condescending and imp**** that i did not have sufficient evidence even though I supp**** them with the Ford garage report stating CAUSE: Fuel contamination. I also took it a step further and supp**** them with the fuel they removed from my car as well which they probably just thrown away and it seems this still means nothing. Seems like all big cooperation's likes to kick the little guys because we cannot pose any threat to them in personal capacity.
