I went to fill up at engen Mohlakeng some time last year around November 2021 and surprisingly after I drove off I realized my petrol gauge didn't shift from empty position and I thought maybe the gauge was malfunctioning, around January of 2022 I sent my young brother to go fill up for me as I was busy taking a bath he went to the same filling station the same incident occurred but luckily for him he hadn't drove off when he noticed that he reported to the attendant who couldn't help him except to insist ge did fill up the car afterwards the supervisor came and stuck with the same story and that is when he called me to come over I then dialed my friend to accompany me there when I got there I was also told the same story and that to prove that the car was indeed filled up video footage of when the car was by the pump with the nozzle inside the fuel tank will be shown to us as well as the digital readout on the pump as proof that the car was filled up and I did not see the logic in viewing the footage as there was nothing to see in terms of whether the car was being filled with petrol or not because when the nozzle is inside the tank the fuel is not visible, there after the supervisor called someone senior to her and I related the story to the man on the phone and explained to him there might be a problem with their pump calibration as the digital readout shows the figures of the litres and amount moving but no actual fuel comes out of the pump nozzle,to which he responded by saying it's impossible because their pumps are checked daily in the morning and because I was the only customer to complain about that my situation is an isolated case that can therefore not be attended to as it will come at a cost to his garage.lastly the same engen Mohlakeng filling Station always overcharges with a few cents before filling up a customer will be asked if they are paying by card or cash,when customers pay by EFT the amount is exceeded but when it's a cash payment their attendants never exceed the fill up by a single cent.
