Engen Macd Trade centre

I went to the Engen Macd Trade centre in The Orchards, Pretoria on the 2nd October to fill up my car and the petrol attendant asked if they can check the oil and water which I agreed to. After about a week the car started sounding funny and I could smell oil when the car stopped. When I opened the car bonnet I discovered that the oil cap was not there and there was oil spillage on the inside of the bonnet.

After speaking to the owner of the filling station (Steven), he told me that they only keep CCTV footage for up to 5 days and that there isn't anything they can do to assist me. I have incurred unnecessary costs to get the car sorted and currently struggling to get around without my car.
