Engen Gerhaldo Filling Station pumps poorly maintaned and auto stop seldom works leaving spillage at my expense

<p>I only use Engen Gerhaldo Filling Station in Garsfontein Pretoria East because its convenient but I repeatedly question why I go back as this is a recurring problem. Their pumps are poorly maintained and the auto stop seldom works. I have on no less than 6 times gone and fetched the station manager to come witness the spillage so they can take action and rectify the problem. They always blame Engen who allegedly own and maintain the pumps. I know their auto stops are unreliable and I know my vehicle so I always warn the petrol attendants that my vehicle will take between x & y amount of fuel. Today I warned the pump attendant, my vehicle will take between 20-30 litres. At 33L it started spitting out petrol all over the forecourt. After calling the manager, the petrol attendant says its only happens to my vehicle. I got very annoyed and angry as it has happened with my vehicle, my wife’s vehicle and my work vehicle so I will not accept that excuse. Personally I cannot accept Gerhaldo Filling Station management putting the blame back on Engen.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
