Engen Colesberg

Engen Onestop in Colesberg was a great place years ago. As we come through at least once a year it is sad to see how bad the service and playground state are these days. There was a lot of people going through on 3 January 2020 and they were understaffed everywhere. The wimpy waiters were running like crazy... only 2 people at Debonairs, only one behind the pie and coffee stand. And two cashiers at the Engen shop. On talking to someone sitting very relaxed in the office she explained people did not show up for work because this time of the year people drink a lot. I spoke to some of the staff to tell them to hang in there because they were trying their best. I mentioned what the manager said... she said mam... we were only 2 put on this shift... no one did not show up for work. All of them that were told to be there were there. Just sad that people know how busy this time of the year is but to pay less wages, they put less people to make more profit. Will go to another stop in the future.
