Warning - avoid Engen CJ Service Station on the corner of Rustenburg Rd and Rd no 3 near Delta Park. We filled up with fuel there this morning and their card machine wouldn't connect - kept timing out. The attendant just became defensive and told us the card was declined. This was untrue, there are funds in the account. The problem was clearly with their machines not able to connect. We asked for their bank details so we could make a direct transfer, but they wouldn't or couldn't give us details. When I asked what we do next, the only response was that WE must "make a plan". By this time, the whole crowd of attendants were gathered around my wife and I in a very intimidating manner. Luckily, my wife managed to draw cash against our credit card (incurring additional fees) to pay for the fuel. In all, we wasted close to 30 minutes due to their incompetence and faulty equipment. There was no apology, no taking responsibility, no customer care or service whatsoever - just an intimidating, threatening demeanor. I strongly advise anyone from using this Engen station. I will certainly never go near them (or any other Engen station) ever again.
