Engen 1-Stop N! North Bloemfontein -THANK YOU!

<p>We broke down at the Engen 1-Stop on the N1 North at Bloemfontein on the way home from holiday in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday, 3 January 2017 at around 9:15/30. The forecourt manager was absolutely brilliant! He was understanding, concerned and caring. He even contacted a well-known mechanic in the area to come out and try to assist us while waiting for a tow. Even though we were stuck at the pumps at a VERY busy time, he re-assured us it was no problem and put cones out to stop cars from queuing expectantly behind us. He shook my husband's hand and told us not to worry, we'll get sorted out. He put us more at ease in a stressful (and embarrassing!) situation. While waiting for both the mechanic and/or the tow-truck to arrive, the manager (unfortunately I have forgotten his name) set out to locate jump leads (ours were locked in the boot which we could not open due to electrical failure with the battery/aternator), and then an EXTREMELY kind couple who helped to try and jump-start our car (A HUGE THANK YOU to these people too, I so hope you happen to read this!). Fortunately it worked and we eventually were on our way again, back to Joburg. I am ever so thankful for both the kindness and initiative of the forecourt manager. and the couple who helped us jumpstart our car, but especially the manager who went out of his way to help us in any way he could by phoning the mechanic, and then searching the forecourt for someone who was willing to jumpstart us. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. If only there were more people like this! I so hope this message gets passed on to the right manager.</p>
