Disrespectfull staff at Engen Service station, Hendrik Vervoerd, Centurion.

Engen Service Station, Hendrik Verwoerd, Centurion.

I went to the service station on the 23/02/2018 to throw petrol in my car, so I told the man that I will pay inside, because I needed to get something else. I went to the till after I got everything, and I gave her my card to pay. She went off on me because my card got declined. I told her that is not nessecery to be rude to me in front of the other clients. I asked to speak to the manager. She then started yelling trying to call him. I told him that the lady talked to me in a disrespectful way. He just shook his head, turned around and walked away. I then transferred money so that I could pay. The lady wasn't busy with any other clients, so I walked to her so I could pay for the items and she chased me away because she wanted to help other clients. I told her that I was standing in the queue and she started screaming at me, telling me my card was declined and I should wait. I told her that I had transferred money. She then started going off at me again in front of other clients, so I told her that she would not talk to me like that, so she started arguing with me. I then told her she should put my card through so that I could leave. She then asked my what I was going to do about it. I asked for the slip, so she then slammed the slip on the table. All around this has been an almost traumatic experience. The way I was treated at this service station by the staff was completely unprofessional and appalling . Hopefully this is not the manner in which all the clients are treated.
