Dangerous Gas Cylinder Sold and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a gas cylinder from Engen Honeydew Service Center, located at Beyers Naude Dr, 5 Star Park, Honeydew, Roodepoort, 2040; which turned out to be faulty and extremely dangerous. Even when the valve was in the closed position, the cylinder continued to release gas. This posed a serious safety hazard to me and those around me.

When I contacted the store for assistance, instead of addressing the issue responsibly, they insisted that I transport the leaking cylinder back to their filling station for an exchange. This would have put me at even greater risk, and they showed no concern for my safety or the danger posed by the leaking gas.

To make matters worse, they are now insisting that I only exchange the cylinder rather than refunding me. I have completely lost trust in their products and service, and I do not want a replacement cylinder from them.

This experience has been not only disappointing but also frightening, as it could have easily led to a serious accident. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this business. I also urge Engen to review this matter.
