Contaminated diesel at Engen

I filled my tank with R1000 worth of diesel in my 2023 Mercedes Benz Sprinter (17000km on the clock) at Engen Nimrod Park, Kempton Park on Saturday13 July 2024. The tank was left with 40km before I filled in. I drove to Middelburg but when I reached Witbank check engine light flashed continuously on the dashbord, the bus lost pulling power. I called mercedes call center and advised me to book it in for diagnostics. I booked it in on Tuesday 16th of July at Cargo Commercial Vehicles Airport (Eastrand) where I bought it. Guess what, they found the fuel in the tank smelling paraffin and looking like lemonade in colour. Spoke to manager at Engen by the name of Henry and is asking about service history of the vehicle that is brand new.
