Complaint
Had the worst experience with an attendant named Tshepo from the new Engen in Mabopane block D. This guy is an older gentleman but has an attitude of a teenager and he gossips with other attendants about conditions of our cars, I went there to pump one of my flat tyres like I usually do and overheard him. He literally gaslit me when I confronted him. And walked off without telling me that he was done pumping the tyres. I stood there thinking he wasn’t done till one of the kids in the car said he had left.

26 Feb 2026, 18:47I’m still waiting to be contacted again. This Engen garage is the one which is at Peter Magano convenience centre. I passed there again to get petrol and another agent called Tsheko and his mate Tshepo were gossiping and throwing remarks. Apparently they don’t want to help anymore because I told them off. Their plan is to tell the other attendants not to assist me anymore and they are dragging my sister into this whole ordeal because she also works in the store.
This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Is there no customer service training before hiring people because I’m appalled by this sort of behavior.
