Car wash or petrol station?

<p>We pulled up at the Prince George, Muizenberg Engen Garage after 5pm on Sunday 19th March 2017. The attendants all seemed busy either with filling petrol or washing windows of cars who had just filled up with petrol. We didn't mind at first as this is usually standard at most garages. However, after waiting for 7 mins and noticing that the attendant with name tag "Thando", who was closest to us, was certainly in no rush as he slowly and deliberately washed each window of the car he was busy with. Agitated by this, my husband asked Thando when we were going to receive service as this was a filling station not a car wash. Thando rep**** that he was asked to clean the windows and its his job to do so. I then agreed with him but told him that he is deliberately taking his time with this car as he was going around to each window, even the little ones without a sense of urgency. All this time, the owner of the car that was being washed, was nowhere to be seen for the 10 minutes that we waited on service. We told Thando that we are going to lodge a complaint and he said we can go ahead. He then called Thulani over to help us and then slowly carried on with the window washing. He was still busy when we left, scolding and moaning at us in his language. The owner of the car had still not returned either. I've never experienced service at a garage where washing windows took priority to helping customers waiting to fill up.</p>
