Bad customer service and clueless employees
Went to Engen Hillcrest today after 17:00pm to fill up petrol then when I told the guy that I need to give him the clicks card numbers then he said it is fine. Then after filling up the he went to fetch the Fnb eft machine the he said the machines are not working, so I asked him what’s gonna happen to my clicks points then he said nothing after I told him to call the manager but he called his co worker and who did not even come then in the mean time he was telling me to swipe and pay and leave so that he can help another customer who came for a gas bottle exchange, I refused to pay then went inside to look for the manager and I found the white old men with a male cashier and asked them about my points then they said their fnb eft machines are offline and there is nothing they can do, and I ask them if can I come later during the week to claim my points then they told me I’m not allowed to claim any points because they can’t force the machines to swipe my points if I won’t be buying the fuel at that moment. So I’m very angry at Engen Hillcrest at Hatfield Pretoria fuel service station how come you work with Clicks rewards system but you don’t have an advance system or customer service to resolve my issue and you are clueless with how to resolve your Fnb eft machines offline disaster. So I paid for the fuel but did not get my points. So I’m considering to go away from any Engen garages in future and go to other fuel stations like Sasol, Total, Caltex or Shell
