Attendant Endangered my life and the owner of engen wouldn't even take accountability in the petrol attendants absence.

I'm astonished by they way I was treated as a regular customer at a local Engen in my area, in Macassar by the owner when seeking assistance. I stopped at the Engen to do a regular fill up on the 9th of October 2019, Wednesday late afternoon. The petrol attendant whom then assisted me at that time was more negligent than helpful. I asked him to check my oil and water after the petrol fill, he did as requested. I then commuted as per normal, to a friend within the area and then returned home a while thereafter. I stopped at the same garage the following day, a similar vehicle owner pulled up next to me and complimented me on my vehicle. He then requested to check out my motor - of which he got out of his vehicle and opened my bonnet. He then informed me that the entire engen was covered with oil and that my oil cap was missing. I felt extremely overwhelmed due to the fact that I was enroute to Grabouw at that point in time and if anything had to happen on the way, my life would have been endangered due to the fact that I am not a car fanatic, but I use my vehicle for important day to day use. I turned to seek assistance from the manager on site, whom then called the owner. I proceeded to communicate with the owner whom was not willing and able, from his opinion, to assist me in any way possible as his excuse and direct words were, "he'd check the footage first, coz there are procedures to follow" of which I was not even informed about the way we were to go about things. He initially told me that he'd check footage and get back to me of which he did. He told me the footage clearly displays that the petrol attend placed my oil cap back and turned the cover thrice to get it closed. I actually tested that myself and realized that the cap has to be turned at least 9times to have it closed properly. I felt extremely undermined and disrespected as a customer because clearly he tried to fuse my defense. I returned today, 14 October 2019 after he told me that he'd only be available at the gas station today in order to communicate personally. I returned there to meet up with him. He showed me the footage fleetingly on his cellphone, which I felt was very unsatisfying. I took along with me, the purchase slip of the new oil cap that I had to purchase myself in the meantime as well as going the extra mile as to removing the cap for him to see for himself, that its impossible to turn the oil cap back thrice to get the oil opening closed. He refused to close the cap himself and then told me "that's not my work, I'm a businessman" . I felt extremely undermined, as I run a business myself and never in the books of history would it be fine to respond to in customer in the way he responded to me. I mentioned to him that I felt extremely angry and annoyed at this point, as he wasnt even willing to go the extra mile for me, as his employee was in the wrong and that it could have possibly cost me my life if I hadn't realized the missing oil cap. He undermined me by asking me to explain what the meaning is of 'extra mile' is. The whole situation technically died out as he showed me that he is no longer willing to do anything in this regard. Because of negligence, his employee had been the cause of me losing my oil cap and he wasn't even willing to replace just that. From my personal opinion, this man did not consider the principles in this situation at all. I am yet unhappy about the manner he went about it !
