To anyone ever ordering from ebay using USPS to South-Africa

To all those who wants to order anything from ebay using USPS to South-Africa, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST...........

You will thank me eventually............

Do NOT ever use the option of USPS to SOUTH-Africa and rather pay a bit more for DHL, Fedex or UPS.

REASON: All goes extremely well from USPS (America) to OR Tambo International Airport. This is where things become extremely *****. USPS updates their tracking service quite regularly on their Phone App and up to such a stage that it says, cleared customs and delivered to post office. At this stage, one should start asking the JIMC Post office for a local tracking number, if and when you do get your local tracking number, go on any track and trace website and enter the local tracking number or send customer care at the JIMC premises and they will tell you it is not yet in South-Africa or it has not cleared Customs yet. So USPS is sending information totally wrong and JIMC at this stage don't really help much. 2 weeks since a parcel arrived in South-Africa, this is where you will be at this stage, countless emails to customer service @ post office only to be told that the most useless ever "EMS" Team must now advise when they will deliver or when they ready for you to collect. Only issue here and as per all complaints regarding EMS Post Office on the internet, they never reply to emails, never answer their phones and are never at work when you go there or treat you like a dirty oil rag and have no mind set for customer satisfaction or service.

I highly doubt your parcel from overseas will be lying waiting patiently for you as EMS might have sold your parcel to someone else already to benefit their personal pockets. You lost your parcel and your monies spent on it as well. ebay does not pay back your money if your parcel has gotten lost as they also have proof of tracking your parcel, they will only pay you back if the supplier you bought from, supp**** the incorrect stuff.

Please be warned, it is not going to be a pleasant experience to and for you and that is why I am sending this complaint out to South-Africa.
