Water leak over 2 months old

I am writing this out of desperation. I have had a water leak on my pavement for over 2 months now and I have been reporting this to Ekurhuleni for the same period. I reported it numerous times on the website but got absolutely no response at all. I eventually found a number (which does not get answered during lunch times by the way) to call. I have reported this to them on 4 occasions now. Yesterday I was told that the system says the problem has been resolved. This came as a big surprise as I have had no one digging up my pavement which was expected and the water is still there. My latest 2 ref numbers are *** and ***. Considering the water restriction and minimal rain South Africa is going through you would expect at least a little efficiency from Ekurhuleni when it comes to water leaks. After this if I get no help I am afraid I will have to leave the water to waste away down the drain as many people have.
