Very Sad To Have To Wake Up, Prepare for WORK and Bring NO DIFFERENCE
After having had re-registered my bond, it appeared I had to create a new municipality account. It almost seemed like a flawless process when the lady Pumla Tyabashe requested some few documentations and a couple of email confirmations to create my new account and move my deposit from the previous account to the new one. All went good and that was done. . . That was until I now had to be referred to the accounts department where I needed to now move my credit balance which I accumulated when I paid for the compliance certificate; the money is a little over R4k which is sitting on my previous account (now not billed into) and at the same time I also have a debit balance (new account) of R1.8k.
When I asked Accounts Department for this money to be moved across, the Senior Clerk, Herman Prinsloo was very quick to point out (on Nov 1st) that without the letter from the transferring attorneys (Conveyancers), confirming the transfer of this funds from the old account to the new, nothing would happen, I was impressed with the response times to which I immediately referred the request to my conveyancers who indeed arranged and sufficed the letter on request. Having had sufficed the letter less than 48hours later on Nov 3rd, I thought Herman would continue with his promptness, to which he surprised me by neglecting to respond to my emails. There was fortunately more than one recipient address on the communication and I managed to get Emmanuel L. Marutla replying and supposedly moving funds across even though his responses only happened on December 5th and that was because I went and added any Ekurhuleni Email address I could come across on the search engines. My efforts to finding and adding multiple additional recipients was due to the frustration of all my emails being ignored by both Emmanuel and his Snr Clerk, Herman, potentially every second day from the 3rd of Nov. My efforts seemed to at least spart a little attention and I finally received feedback from Emmanuel on the 5th of Nov. Emmanuel confirmed with a screenshot of his systems, that he had moved the funds across, I unfortunately to this date still logon to my Municipal Profile and I still have 2 accounts reflecting, I still have the same amounts, R4k and R1.8k reflecting respectively, showing that I owe them R1.8k whereas at the same time they owe me R4k. I emailed them the screenshots of my side of interface and Emmanuel has since said the "systems might only reflect the next day". It is December 10th NOW as I type this and even with my email sent on Friday the 8th when I asked why this is still reflecting as I showed on my further capture of a screenshot from the day, I still have the same situation where funds are yet to reflect as having had been transferred on my profile.
I feel this is such a sad situation of young "professionals" waking up daily, claiming to go to work and getting there to make no difference in the service they are supposed to serve. IT IS REALLY SAD!!!
PS: The less we talk about their forever unattended phones, the better!
