Useless Ekurhuleni allows residents to live in ****!

We have a sewage leak for 24 hours now. The drain on the side walk is blocked (as it is every year,twice a year). The water floods our garden and our neighnours' gardens. We have reported it yesterday and have escalated it multiple times without avail. The call centre agent tells me its weekend,the councilor Ivan Naidoo's phone remains unanswered and the grey water keeps rising. It is currently at our back door steps. We have small children and dogs. What are we paying for? This has been a problem for years and they dont do anything about it. All they do is unblock the drain and wait for the next blockage. The roots of the trees are causing the blockage every year but they dont cut it. Meanwhile we have to pay thousands to get our yards cleaned and sanitary so we can live in them again.
