Unattended electricity outage for over 100 hours
Specifically the energy department. I logged a call on Tuesday 9 July 2024 at midday that my electricity had gone off. It is now Saturday evening 13 July 2024, 103 hours and 35min since logging the case and NOBODY has come to my address to sort out what it could be. They closed my call. In my thinking this is because they have an allocation of 48 hours' to close a call. Through it exceeding that they must be *****ulently closing a call to get a good stat for attending to matters "blaming their system of doing so in error and I.T is on it"? Absolute NONSENSE! The technician has been saying since Thursday evening he will be here. I call every hour to find out what is going on and this afternoon the call centre team leader tells me she can't keep getting up to attend to my matter as there are hundreds of others and the technician keeps telling her that he keeps getting called to other calls. Since my outage there has even been an area outage which has been sorted out. My rates are fully paid and I am treated like this? Why in the world am I even paying a bill to receive no service because I am one consumer as opposed to a whole suburb? Can I please get a good samaritan in an appalling government service provision even to come and address this TONIGHT STILL?
