Traffic Light Disaster in Alberton

<p>Within the last month or so, most of the traffic lights in Alberton which have filters for turning traffic have been set to not filter at all. This is causing an absolute disaster in respect of traffic congestion at several intersections on both the Ring Road and Swartkoppies. These turning filters should run all day to alleviate congestion and also help to avoid traffic accidents at these busy intersections. Roads very badly affect include access to schools at Phantom and Swartkoppies, Ringroad E and Padstow which feeds Verwoerdpark as well as Ringroad E and Helston. These filters need to be turned back on run all day before there is a serious accident at one these intersections. It is just ridiculous!!! </p>
