Terrible Service delivery of Ekurhuleni Energy

The Ekurhuleni Energy Dept. do not bother to give heed to repair the power supply to houses of legitimate taxpayers! Multiple houses were left without power after Ekurhuleni workers "worked" on a sub station in Elspark, managing to somehow supply an high voltage of 380-450v to single phase houses causing extensive damage to Geyser timers etc. After logging incidents for the restoration of power and attempts to escalate we have been (currently) 5 days without power. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour to have such a non-care attitude and refusal of any service delivery attitude to citizens who are paying taxes and their salaries!! I even contacted the mayor, chief whip of ANC in Ekurhuleni, ward councelors etc... All reply I get is" I Have escalated"

In the meantime we, as pensioners, have food that spoiled, constant fuel expenses to run the generator for a few hrs a day and are exposed to higher security risks as we cannot arm our alarm system and have any lights on at night?? This is ******** behavourl!!
