Severe Lack of Reliable Service from Ekurhuleni Germiston

It’s become clear that reliable service from Ekurhuleni in Germiston (Energy department)no longer exists. Despite logging incidents on the Ekurhuleni site, calling the call center, and emailing the Mayor’s office, every effort ends in a dead end, with no one stepping up to take responsibility.

Tedstoneville residents on Jackdaw Street, including elderly paying customers at No. 18, have been without electricity for three days. Despite notifying authorities of a faulty prepaid meter showing an error code, no technician has arrived to assist. As a result, food has spoiled, and residents are left without security or basic safety.

Meanwhile, it seems local councilors in the area have done nothing to resolve these ongoing issues. Residents deserve better.
