to date 21/09/2023 @10;00am, we've been expecting Municipal assistance to repair main water supply pipe burst and have running water at home to wash and use bathroom, we have 5-reference numbers to date (Ref 1164 of 2023/09/19, Ref 1414 of 2023/09/18, Ref 0054 of 2023/09/18,) and made 12 follow-ups through call center *** on the Reference no's, with -+1hour average call incl waiting period on the queue per single call.

Yesterday 21/09/2023 @3:00pm we went to Winnie Mandela Municipal office, the gentleman in charge of municipal plumber promised plumbers were on the way to our house, but till we went to sleep and wake up in the morning plumber never came, we still left without water @10:00am.

Call center agents keep saying they only capture a query or escalate a ref on a client's follow-up call, where can we now go to escalate this painful situation since Friday 15/09/2023.

Ward 1 Councilor Derek Thompson City of Ekurhuleni knew about our water crisis complaint since we escalated to him on Friday 15/09/2023 as our Ward Councilor, following a main water supply pipe burst on the road in front of our home, cutting supply of fresh water to our home and other 3 neighbors

We understand Cllr Derek Thompson downplayed our request because its only 4-houses affected by same burst pipe we sharing tapping to the main water supply, hence he kept on promising and did nothing, not even a call to check on us, he could have told us on Friday we would have focused our energies on other assistance, not worry him with endless calls and texts, it's so painful, he told us he was looking for a MMC to sort our issue, since no results till today, means he did nothing, he does not care al all about us and thousands of liters of fresh water running down the road since Friday

To date, we still do not have water due to pipe burst on Friday 15 September 2023 till today, we reported to the Ward 1 Cllr same day and throughout the weekend and only got his promises with
