Prepaid billed for business premises
Good day, I have two issues. I'm trying to changed the registration details on a prepaid meter to my details as I have bough the house. Secondly, the tariffs being billed on this prepaid meter seems to be incorrect as I'm being charged R4.00 per unit if I buy more than 700 units. Based on what I could see on browsing on the internet should this amount be R2.36 per unit. Could someone please assist with this enquiry.

Good Morning Kobous
You need to go to the enquiry department at your nearest CCC preferably the one where you pay your rates & taxes. There are two Types of tariffs mainly A & B for Households & Businesses. They should be able to tell you which one you fall under & explain to you how it is calculated. However if you are still not happy you can opt for changing the tariff you're on by simply filling an application form which is obtainable from the people working at enquiries.
