POTHOLE DANGER IN EKURHULENI

I have reported 2 streets in the Anderbolt area where the potholes are ********** and getting worse by the day. The last time I phone to enquire as to when these would be attended to I was told "we are waiting for product". PLEASE, don't give me that. This metropol is now under the management of the DA but, surprisingly it worked much better under the ANC. No matter who is controlling it, the streets concerned are Paul Smit (Cnr. Turf) and Main. These streets have heavy traffic and one has to drive on the left hand side to get past some of the potholes and on the pavement in the other street. When I asked who will pay for damage to the cars trying to get past these potholes I was nonchalantly told "send it to the place you pay your rates". Obviously with this sort of attitude I expect nothing will be done until a fatal accident occurs !!!!
