No Response Metro Police Daveyton

On Friday 16 March 2018 at 5 pm i was hit by a taxi from behind, i phoned Metro Police at 17:15 they said they would despatch officers to the scene, i waited for an hour and nobody came to the scene, i phoned again they told me the same story, i received a Ref number via sms, stating that my case has been handed over but nobody came, the driver from the other vehicle left and revised to leave his details, i waited for Metro Police at the scene till 8pm, and NOBODY responded or came to the accident scene, Point number one: i am a female i've been in an accident i explained that the other driver is starting an argument so that is why i needed Officers on the scene, i did not feel safe. Point number two: I waited by myself with my kids for them to arrive till 8pm at night. Point number three: I tried calling SAPS they told me i need to speak to Metro because its their job, at 8:15 i decided to drive to the Metro offices in Daveyton, spoke to the Supervisor and the advice he could give me was i need to go to SAPS. I need to understand who is going to pay for the damage on my car?????????? If only Metro had responded the other driver would be held liable!!!!!
