No Rates and Taxes being charged

I have been trying relentlessly for the past 3 weeks to get through to the Alberton Municipality. I have tweeted my complaint, called the call centres, lodged a complaint on the website but it seems as if no one works at the Alberton Municipality. The number goes through, you go through the voice recorded message and then the call gets dropped. I am to my wits end. We have not been charged Rates and Taxes on our new account and I have been querying this. We will not be held responsible should one day someone wake up and decide we are owing you R20000.00.
