No Electricity since Saturday 16/01/2016 09:00 pm!

The service from Ekurhuleni Energy dept is nonexistent. Our power went off Saturday evening only, our house. We immediately reported it and was told that there is a 4 to 24 hour turnaround time. It is now Monday 18/01 still no electricity and no technician came to see us. We were told it's a finance problem my husband went this morning and was told it is not a finance problem but a technical problem. The offices at the council could not get hold of their own technicians to assist!! Despite numerous follow up phone calls we have not had any response. With a baby and preschool child at home and food stuff in the fridge I really don't know who to turn to. My call ref is ***. It is absolutely disgusting how the council simply ignore rate (tax) paying citizens. It is now 36 hours without electricity!
