Meter blocked

Since last week for no reason my meter has been blocked. Friday when phoning the call centre I was spoken to very rudely when I clearly said that there's no reason for my meter to be blocked as all my accounts are paid up. Someone apparently will come out to see what the problem is. Why?? Can't you just unblock it. I've got kids and pretty soon I'll sit with no electricity as I can't load any. My nr is ***
