LOSING MY HOME DUE TO INABILITY TO MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS

It is a very humiliating situation to find ones self in but I am not to sure what to do from here on out.

Ultimately I am afraid that we lose our home of which we pay our bond each and every month to rates and taxes owing to the municipality of which we have now have no control over. I have attached previous conversations that I had with a Mr. Chris Engelbrecht regarding the situation we now find ourselves in.

We are now in debt of over R100 000.00 with Ekhuruleni in Nigel. This debt accumulated due to the Municipality in Springs and Nigel rejecting any payment arrangement made. due to no payment being made, the account just continues to accumulate interest and just grows and grows. When we went to make payment arrangements over 4 times at their offices they denied payment arrangement stressing that we need to make a full payment of R100 000.00 in order to even consider having the luxury of having our electricity restored to our home.

When my husband was going through a divorce from his previous wife she stayed in the house and apparently paid to have the power (bypassed) or whatever the term is called. When he moved in he converted the house to solar as he was never home so he didn't bother to buy prepaid as it wasn't necessary to do so. The one day when he was at home sick and Ekhuruleni official got his attention at he gate handed him a "fine" and told him they are cutting his power to the house due to tampering of the electricity. so then we were smacked with a fine for whatever his ex wife had done.

His ex wife has since fled the country due to embezzling money from the company she was working at, so we couldn't even take legal action on her or even sue her for the ******* activity that she had committed.We have been without electricity to our house for 2 years now and now they want to turn our water off too:-( I don't know what to do. We have a huge piece of property and I cant explain to you how difficult the up keep of the property is without electricity, I have to cut the grass with a **** eater and I need to use the generator in order to maintain our swimming pool as the solar system is not strong enough to handle the wattage of the pool motor and heavy appliances such as the lawnmower etc.

I cant explain what negative effects our situation has on our children.I am now in the process of planning a fundraiser to raise funds for our situation. Please please would you be so kind as to see where you can please assist me with our situation.

Please could Ekhuruleni switch our power back on and please give us the opportunity to pay each month in order to regain a healthy financial status again and prove to Ekhuruleni that we can keep up with this payments on a monthly basis.
