Faulty meter since the 8th May

I reported a fault on the 8th May regarding a prepaid meter that was not working. I received a temporary fix when electricians managed to load lights for me but up till today nobody has been out to actually fix my meter box or at least see what was wrong.

Today I called to find out what was the progress of my query and was told that my issue (reference number: ***) was closed and listed as solved.

I have no lights for over a week and still no help.

To top it all off, I received really bad customer service when I called the call center from an agent named Nadine, not listening to my problem but rather constantly telling Me that the problem was shown as solved on her side.

Could anyone help me restore power to my home and perhaps try fixing my broken meter which has not worked since the 8th of May 2015.

Hello shaunlungoo,

Please take the faulty prepaid meter to Benoni Electricity Department so that they can test the prepaid meter and advise you on what the problem might be

Kind Regards
