Calls and emails not answered by the employess on service queries. ****** dustbins not replaced since 2025. Refuse bags and unmarked dustbins not collected/picked up/emptied by the EMM employees at Nigel

29 May 2026, 21:11Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is no longer sending the rates and taxes monthly bills and one has to use and app to establish the amount to be owed. 1. I am resident at Nigel in Gauteng and Unfortunately my Siyakhokha app was not functional and I had my payments scheduled on my bank app for the same estimated monthly tarrif, until I was served a Pre Termination notice in March 2026 indicating arreas, which i paid part of and made an arrangement to pay up a total amount of R500 extra on my monthly bill for three months, which i have done without fail. Just recently now in May, which is the last month of paying the arreas I receive yet again another Pre Termination notice with a penalty of over R200. For what? Can one be given a pre termination whilst an…
