Electricity disconnected 2 days after payment

On the 21 August 2015 I received a final notice for disconnection which was printed on the 19 August 2015. I then went to the Germiston Municipal offices to make payment on Monday, 24 August 2015. Today, the 26 of August 2015 Which is 2 days after I made payment, I get home at 18H00 to find that my electricity has been disconnected, and the the notice which was printed today still shows the outstanding amount that has been paid already. It is frustrating since at this time of the day there's nothing much that a person can do. But more frustrating is the fact that it is not the first time that this has happened to me, and yet it doesn't seem like the council is really doing anything about it to ensure that errors like this are totally eliminated.<br> <br> It would be expected that if payments are made directly to the municipality then it should update immediately, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
