Ekurhuleni nightmare

A one star rating for this entity is overrated. Apart from the agony of having had to go through the painful process of lodging an application for renewal of driver's licence, is the continued agony of trying to get confirmation of whether the license is ready for collection. No number advertised on the websites seem to work, weeks and by now months after submitting go by with the ghastly reality of a (fruitless?) trip seem to be the only solution of getting an answer.
