Ekurhuleni Municipality call centre employees are so *********** so as their employer.

My water meter burst on Saturday 12 February 2023. I called Ekurhuleni emergency and they gave me a number where to report water issues.I called and they took details of my water account and my address.I spoke to Valencia who logged a query on the system and provided me with ref 1108.She told me that TAT is 4 hours to 24 hours.I waited no one came on Saturday. On Sunday morning I called to make a follow up and spoke to Fikile who advised that plumber will be dispatched as soon as one is available.Sunday afternoon seeing that no one has come to attend to the query,I called city of ekurhuleni again and spoke to Lerato,She could not provide me with any update as she said she is offline.I asked her what is the TAT time she told me that it's 4 to 7 days, contrary to what I was told by Valencia a day before.I asked her if I was supposed to wait for 7 days and have my house flooded before they can come, she said they are using only one contractor and if the contractor is for example in Benoni, they will move to Germiston and spend a week there.I asked her it it means it can take more than 7 days for the to come fix the meter.I asked her to provide me with contact number for Ekurhuleni executive mayor, she kept on hold forever until I decided to hang up.Wow what a service from city of ekurhuleni. You are so *********** how can such a big metropolitan municipality depend on one service provider. This is disgusting.NB all this time I had no water, all they care for is for votes yet they fail to provide a basic maintenance service
