Ekurhuleni Municipality (Bedfordview/Germiston)

I logged a complaint on the 31st December 2021 with the Ekurhuleni Municipality for a drain/pipe leakage as water was gushing out on the side of the road outside my home. I have followed up with them 6 times with dates, names and times of my calls which every person I would speak to said the call was in progress but not closed however no one has since come to the residence to analyse the situation of the complaint logged. Since date of complaint logged, there is water still leaking down the road as well as a blocked sewerage pipe that is causing water to float back up in toilets and drains. This has created a patch of algae growth in our driveway and still with sewerage water flowing from under the pavement on top of that created a fowl smell with flies roaming the area and going into the household. We have been living in this condition since December until now and not knowing when will someone ever come and attend to this shocking site. Utterly shocked and disappointed with the Government Service Delivery.
