My Mom she is 66 years old she app**** for indigent last year Nov cause she can't afford to pay full instlaments that municipality want and she is getting the pension she did once app**** before and she was paying r*** at that time , they have send her sms about her application, after that application they send someone to come an evaluate , this person he said to my mom if don't want pay for 3 years then he need to pay him r600 cause have a creche and he did'nt check how many kids does she have my mom told him that she can't give him money he don't receipt and this guy went to the office declined my mother's application he told them that she have a creche after that they send her TERMINATION LETTER, alright that amount was paid but not in full , then december the water meter was leaking I did call and lodge the query they didn't come then Jan we paid on the 27/01/2020 r400 they come to place to check the water meter box and it changed.I know that they did charge her inteerst on arrears for late payment. They send again another letter of termination due date for 11/2/2***6 THEN WE PAID by 25/2 again they send statement to say she need to pay r2995 the amount that we paid r1000 was not showing , then I called the office cause on the statement it showing that water meter change and it shows that we have use 50 000 kl r1396 and ask them how are working cause we did report that amouth need to be removed and they even send another termination letter that need r2000 something the guy said we ignore that they will remove r1396 then for this month we must pay r1120 not sure cause they have already added interest on arrears for the late pay .Even now we haven't receive the statement even if you lodge a query on the SIYAKHOKHA the is no follow up ... my problem is that my mon she can't afford although she have a creche that didn't check how many kids she have, Only 3 kids ...I'm not happy with their service delivery cause Tembisa is the main arear that paying bills for municipality we know very well that if you don't pay they will cut off electricity.
