Ekhurulani Metropolitan Clinic WITH BAD SERVICE - CHASED A PATIENT AWAY WITHOUT BEING ASSISTANTED
Today I woke up early around 04:00 at arrived at the Ekhurulani clinic to be assisted from being transferred from Durban Addington Clinic to any of JHB clinics to collect my chronic medication.
I was very disappointed the level of service delivery by the nurse who turned me down after waiting for hour in the queue to be assisted. The nurse refused to help me with the chronic medication because the Letter was 8 months old and the letter I had did not have any comments. She did not even give me a reason to explain my situation. She rejected to help me without attempting to find any alternative solutions. I mean in the Government hospital, the whole patient can die because of these nurses who are selfless and do not put the patients needs first. I mean, I had my ID, my clinic card and the letter from Addington Clinic, she did not even try to attempt to call the clinic from Durban, she assumed the letter since it doesn't have comments and no name of the nurse who referred me, she automatically assume that i might be a frauster of some sort and she ask me to go back to Durban or find email address for Addington Clinic to ask the to emai me a letter with comments and referrals names.
Before I left, I asked what was her name, she said she was Thuli and which am not sure that was even her real name and she did not have a name badge. She was on room 134.The service of this country are very poor and words when it comes to government services are even terrible. A person would die in front of the nurse just because they don't have a document with comments but all good information with conditions are indicated in the same letter, and the same letter has a unique patient code which it easily to track when they login the system.
What a poor service
