Disgracefully Hopeless Service

Good evening. At 36 Antelope Street, Leondale. There have been power outages for the month of October even now as I write this review there is no power and this has been reported so many times and followed up so many times with no success at all.

These are the reference numbers: a) 1 October ***, ***

b) 5 October ***

c) 6 October CM***.... the usual reference number was never sent( This was logged through their App)

d) 1 November ***

e) 2 November *** and *** till now there is still no power to that house only in that street.

In all the past instances, the response came after two of three days. The last power outage which was that of the 5th of October, the Technician who attended to the call, Sello was his name, was so arrogant that even when asked to close the power distribution box on the pole just said it was okay as it was and left it open. He just switched the power on and never even bothered to check if the power was indeed back on in the house.

A few days after he left the box open, there was a storm that turned that box 180 degrees around, then the taps and everything steel started shocking the people inside the house. That could be fatal. Then the power went off on the 2nd of November and it was reported immediately, but till now there was no call at all. The food in the fridge is now rotten and have to be thrown away. We have pictures of that Power Distribution box even sent to Mark Wilson whose name is on the website as HOD of Operation and Maintenance, and no response from him too. I suppose we need to resolve this matter through the media and something will happen. The worst is that when things like these happen, there is absolutely no recourse at all. It is always like complaining about a ******** to other *********.

Having talked to some people around, this type of poor service is prevalent in Germiston.

I have completely given up in this metro in Germiston. They are beyond redemption.
