Deposit refund after our house have been sold - Ekurhuleni

This matter relates to the refund of our deposit and 4 month's rates and taxes that we had to pay upfront when we sold our house.

See below breakdown of events:

* The transfer of our house was registered in the Johannesburg Deeds Office on the 26th of March 2024. * The change of ownership was done on the 9th of April 2024. * I then started to make contact with Ekurhuleni with regards to our refund. * The first "refund capture" was done on the 17th of May 2024. * Thereafter the employee who captured the refund has left Ekurhuleni. * I inquired again with Ekurhuleni and was told that nothing has been done since then. To date we haven't received our refund. * I have been contacting the following numbers hoping someone would be able to assist. Some of these numbers were answered, but then I was referred to someone else and given another number to contact. In most instances no one would answer the phone.

I would really appreciate it if you can investigate and let us know which steps to take to resolve this or what are the procedures in order for us to get paid.
