Delay in building plans and no way to expedite

I have handed in my building plans to renovate my domestic property on the 5th of May 2015. After phone calls on a daily basis to expedite the building plans, and being told a different story as to the status of the plans, I am still awaiting after 50 days just to get an update and to trace progress I feel that this division is negligent and spiteful with no service.
