Cutting of Electricity

Ekurhuleni Municipality subcontractors are not doing their jobs properly. The one that take meter readings are not checking the meters physically but they just estimate. My bill came with exorbitant amount because of that. The ones that deliver final notices do that late, then comes the ones that cutoff the electricity. All these subcontractors do not do their work properly. My bill at the moment shows the amount that I don't know how they've arrived to that figure. I called their call center and the operator gave me the number of Germiston branch and said I must speak to them. I phoned them and they didn't pick up the phone. Two days later they came to my house and cutoff my electricity. So this is totally unfair because one, my billing is incorrect. I always pay my account but the way this municipality is treating me is totally unfair. These subcontractors are not monitored and they get paid according to the number of cutoffs they make. So they do this to get a lot of cutoffs so that they can get a lot of money.
