Crime increasing because of ******* building

<p>I live in Delville in Gemiston and we have on average at least one burglary a week. Many houses have built rooms at the back of their houses which they are renting out. I doubt if any of those buildings have approved building plans. The streetlights in this area are not working and the ones that do work are obscured by trees. We don't want the trees cut down but if the EMM can cut and shape the trees so the lines and lights are open and the branches are on either side it would make sense and we could stiil have some greenery.</p> <p> </p> <p>The value of our homes are going down while municipal valuations are going up. That is not going to be tolerated. The municipality is paid by the residents of this area and must provide the services as set out in the municipal bylaws. But that document seems to be of very little use lately as ****a shops and shebeens are everywhere.</p> <p> </p> <p>Comne on EMM do your duty!</p>
