City of Ekurhuleni or Rand Water contribute directly to the spread of the covid pandemic

Its not the first time this has happened, the Primrose residents are denied water, a basic human right! They are also denied an explanation as to why they have no water, they are fed lie upon lie upon lie. Today is day 2 of no water. In previous years the water outages range between 7 to 9 days at a time. With the current covid pandemic, it is not possible for the residents to practice the regular washing of hands protocol implemented by our president and with these possibly contaminated hands, hundreds of people must stand in cues for hours on end to get water in containers, this smacks of a breeding ground for the spread of the pandemic. Then we have not even spoken about the covid positive cases that need to isolate and are not able to go and fetch water and then there is the elderly and the sickly that are not able to haul containers of water around... I hope that when the death tolls start increasing in the area that these companies that are responsible are held accountable accordingly.
