CITY OF EKURHULENI irregular Power cuts

We as residents of Sky City have serious electrical problems. Every time there's load shedding elec tricity is not returned when it's supposed to. On the 8th Mar, we had load shedding scheduled for 12:00 - 14:30, the power was not restored until 17:30 in the evening

Again on the 9th Mar, we had load shedding scheduled for 18:00-20:30, power was not re stored until around 14:30 the following day (10 Mar) in the afternoon. Today again (11 Mar), load shedding was scheduled for 02:00 - 04:30, it's now 08:30 and power is still not restored.

Every time we call their call center they just log calls and give references that they never follow up on. Their technicians have no accountability what soever. There's very poor communication from the municipality, we are never updated on any thing as residents, we just see this random power cuts and have to wait on them to fix whatever time they want to. We being treated like we do not pay for these services, yet we pay month in month out... This needs to be looked at. Some of the reason is the prople who restore the power restore at ones and ruins the cables, then why is necessary steps taken if it means people are not following procedure, this shows incompetency, neglegency and Carelessness...
