Blocked Electricity

<p>My mother who is a pensioner pays rent every month as per the statement she receives from the municipality monthly. But few months back they blocked her electricity & we could not buy it for her. When she went to enquire she was told to pay R1300. We paid that amount just so that we can be able to buy electricity for her. Now again they have blocked it, when she went to enquire at Springs branch, she was told her monthly payments don't appear on the system, even the R1300 we paid last time for the electricity to be unblocked that not appear. When she went to KwaThema branch they tell her to pay R1300 again! What are these amounts for? Why do they keep blocking electricity for a person that pays rent monthly? Why does her payments that she makes at KwaThema don't appear at Springs? Is this the *******ion happening in Government departments & Municipalities that we always hear about? Is the someone pocketing innocent old /pensioners / citizens money?!!!!!!!</p>
