Benoni Ekurhuleni Coucil a damaging matter

Long story short. A huge Pinetree growing on the pavement in front of our property caused structural damage to our boundary wall. To add to this, the other tree on the pavement has also caused so much damage, that you can see right through the wall. The curb as well as the tar road!! After numerous calls and requests, Ekurhuleni came on the 1st February to chop the pine tree. They left the stump wall hight, as the wall would have collapsed due to the damage. On the 13th April, during Level 5 Lockdown the wall collapsed, leaving a big gap in the front wall, and damage to our electric fence. So Locked Down, Hole in the wall exposing our property for anyone to enter, and no electric Fence. Constantly talking with Ekurhuleni Customer Care manager, written to the Mayor and City manager, no response. The only excuse is they will look into the matter. Nothing happens, and here we sit, locked in, and totally exposed with no security. I would just like to know that our matter is looked at, but I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling as to this ever happening.
