Gap Cover payment

A recent claim was paid out fairly quickly, however I was not provided feedback during the claim process and had to follow up myself. The insurer has also taken over the liability of the previous insurer - Ambledown, however these claims are taking forever to process. I have one outstanding for more than 1 year with no feedback unless I request this - Overall feedback from insurer is very poor
