Elixi Heath is a very poor service provider and the phone service is hopeless

I have just taken out gold cover for Primary and Hospital care. I have now got to the benefit eligibility after many months paying my premium. I went to see a Dr who is on their service provider list. The Dr was fantastic but found a few health issues that needed investigation and blood tests as well as medication. I booked the X-ray and scan that the Dr ordered and the one medication the Dr prescribed. The Scan and medication were declined. Phoning the help line to ask why was a trail in itself as I kept being transferred to different agents and having to repeat myself not to mention sucking up most of my airtime. The agents seem to have very limited people s****s, no medical knowledge and no idea of South African geography either as I had to explain where Pretoria/ Tshwane was ............ It is only the Capital city for crying out loud. Very poor service, little help and it is clear that Gold cover means nothing. Very disappointing for my first use of Elixi Health plus very little confidence in their ability to help in an Emergency. I would not recommend anyone to listen to their sales pitch as it is mostly untrue. I was totally misinformed about the benefits.
